Mr. Saadati, 45, has served as a member of California Resources Corporation’s Board of Directors since July 2024. Mr. Saadati has served as the CEO of IKAV USA, an international asset management group, since 2020. He was the Chairman of the Board of Aera from 2023 until its acquisition by California Resources Corporation in July 2024. He served as a VP of Business Development at Devon Energy Corporation from 2017 to 2020, where he was responsible for leading all acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and other business development activities. Previous to Devon Energy, Mr. Saadati worked at Jefferies Energy Investment Bank. Mr. Saadati started out his career with BP serving in a variety of downstream, upstream, M&A and corporate roles. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a minor in Economics, from the University of California San Diego, a J.D. from Trinity Law School and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
